Job Specification

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our online marketing efforts. The promotion of products and services through digital channels is a complex procedure with great potential which becomes increasingly useful for companies such as ours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology. You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaign. As Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for driving increased market share and revenue through a strong online presence, reporting to the Director of Marketing.


Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage all social media activation for the Hotel and support departmental initiatives
  • Handle all social media enquiries and messages
  • Handle TripAdvisor, Booking.com, Expedia, etc. content creation and subscription tools
  • Handle OTA pages and e-commerce activations and subscriptions sent by Regional Office
  • Handle hotel’s SEMs/SEOs with regional/corporate office
  • Allocate and create well-executed social media Sponsored Ads (Boosted Ads/media buying)
  • Cover social events, activations, food promotions with social media stories and live posts (Over weekends whenever required)
  • Execute all agreed hotel marketing strategies and monitor ongoing online marketing campaigns performance and reporting
  • Create new digital marketing materials and adjust existing artwork (including sales flyers, fact sheets, presentations etc.) to agreed brand standards, using the right tone of voice and ensuring content is compliant with corporate guidelines
  • Report on digital activity and make recommendations to improve performance and ROI
  • Create and execute e-newsletters and online marketing campaigns following regional and corporate online guidelines
  • Develop, maintain and grow hotel databases to promote all hotel disciplines including targeted customers campaigns
  • Monitor and review hotel and all third parties website content, ensure it is accurate and up to date
  • Ensure hotel has appropriate marketing content to include up to date marketing collateral, photo library, newsletters, brochures and all matters related to marketing
  • Conduct competitor research and stay up to date with the latest digital trends
  • Establish and maintain effective rapport and open communication with all hotel
  • Handle online purchase requests, quotation requests and payment processing for suppliers and corporate office annual/monthly subscriptions
  • Support marketing team with on-site video shoots, photoshoots and TV series/filming at the property

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as Digital Marketing Executive or similar role
  • Creative minded and has the desire to work in marketing for the hospitality industry
  • Friendly behaviour, positive and enthusiastic attitude with strong customer focus and ability to work independently
  • Honesty, integrity, passion for hard work and achieving results
  • Demonstrated self-starter, with excellent attention to detail
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company’s success
  • Professional approach and presentable
  • Perfect knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends etc.)
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Experience with B2C social media, Google Adwords and email campaigns and SEO/SEM
